Lancashire Youth Folk Ensemble

I am really exited to be a regular tutor working with the newly relaunched Lancashire Youth Folk Ensemble.    The inclusive ensemble is open to all young people in Lancashore who play an instrument and are interested in playing folk music from the North West of England and beyond.

There are a team of great tutors heading up the group including Lancaster based musician Nick Reay and the very talented Mikey Kenney.

If you fancy coming along or know any young musicians who would be interested check out this link:

New Project With Clare Douglas

Having worked with Clare in the past with Mike Harding's Willam Small Small Orchestra I was really intresested in her new tunebook of self compose tunes based on the Settle area of North Yorkshire.   Clare is a great musician and lovely composer and I am a happy that I will be accompanying her on her book launch at the Settle Folk Gathering.

July 28th  First Album Review from folkwords.com

"... outstanding guitar work and a richly accented, warm singing voice...  the man can knows his way around his chosen instruments. There’s a level of skill here that doesn’t just happen ... it needs dedication and finely honed proficiency, it also demands considerable talent ... which Moss clearly has in bucket-loads" http://www.folkwords.com/folkwordsreviews_99414.html

New Collaboration Videos with James McKie

I have been fortunate to play with Toronto based fiddle player James McKie a few times over the last couple of years. We decided to record some tunes and songs for posterity. Hope you enjoy!
